“Let’s decide when I get there.” 👀

We looked at her anatomy, picked out jewellery together and decided on the placements on the day.

The lobes already had plenty of sparkle, so we took it a little higher. A leafy conch, a little helix detail and a tragus to pull it all together.

This is the bit of my job I could do all day.

The conch has me in a chokehold, and honestly? Fair.

The conch is still one of my favourite placements.

It’s our most popular for jewellery choice, and the piercing itself is usually much quicker and not as painful than people expect.

It sits tucked inside the ear, which can make it a little easier to avoid catching while it heals.

You’ll still need to keep pressure off it and give it time, but for jewellery, pain and aftercare, I think it’s the perfect first cartilage piercing ✨
