Client brief: create some pearl earrings for my sister-in-law, not heavy but she likes bold, wearable for everyday but also for events, oh and she likes the ones I wear…

I also liked my clients but there was no way I was copying exactly what she had, a - I don’t copy, I do my style & b - she’s different to you so let’s make it different but with a connection to the originals - sourced the same size of 10mm pearls (but mine were better quality 😜)

Just out of interest does anyone buy exactly the same piece of jewellery they wear for a family member?

Here’s a little belated September Birthstone love for teal sapphires 🩵

I’ve been beavering away on some lovely sapphire commissions - yet to be admired but thought I’d repost one of my favourite Teal sapphire set signature piece - my Calla Lily Ring 🤩 still a classic and very adaptable.

Due to their popularity over the last couple of years we’re so excited to announce that the incredibly talented Sophie from August in Bloom Floristry will be joining us again at my Jewellery Gallery for her magical Christmas wreath-making workshops!

The last few years have been such a huge success and we sold out every session so this year we’ve two special events

🌿 You’ll spend a cosy few hours learning how to craft your very own festive wreath using seasonal foliage, berries, and beautiful ribbons – perfect for your front door or as a thoughtful handmade gift.

Bear with me… there’s lots going on behind the closed doors at the moment and so much I haven’t posted about with all your gorgeous commissions 🥰

I’ve just received this spiral pendant back from casting. Created by a very talented 14 year old on one of my recent wax carving courses - it feels apt with all the craziness of moving house 🤪

I’m aiming to get back to normal working hours next week 😊

I’ll let you into a little secret tool I love to use…

When I’m setting pearls, I always reach for a good old-fashioned wooden clothes peg. It might not look fancy, but it does the job perfectly. 🤩

The wood is soft enough that it won’t scratch or damage the delicate surface of the pearl (which is so important!), and it gives just the right amount of gentle, even pressure while the setting is secured. No slipping, no stress—just a steady hold exactly where I need it.

Sometimes the best tools aren’t the newest ones… they’re the ones that just quietly work 💫

A truly meaningful commission 💫

I recently had the honour of creating this delicate, bespoke eternity ring for a client who wanted something deeply personal — a piece that not only complements her engagement ring, but also carries the memory of someone incredibly special.

Using platinum and diamonds, we designed a soft, curved band to sit perfectly alongside her existing ring. What makes this piece so unique is the incorporation of her mum’s ashes, carefully set within the design — a subtle and lasting way to keep her close, every single day 🤍

This marks the beginning of a new service I’m now offering — creating bespoke jewellery using loved ones’ or pets’ ashes. These can be thoughtfully incorporated into cast silver, gold, or platinum pieces, each one made with care, sensitivity, and respect.
