His & Hers | A Story Behind the Knot 🪢
Some of our favourite commissions are the ones that begin with a piece of jewellery that already holds a story.
This project began with her mother’s wedding band. Rather than melting it down or starting again, we wanted to preserve the original ring and build something new around it 💍
Inspired by a Victorian knot ring, we created a gold bezel featuring an intricate knot set against deep blue enamel. A new design, while keeping the original wedding band and its memories intact.
From there, the idea grew into a second piece for her husband.
We took the same knot motif and reworked it in silver, combining it with black leather to create a bangle that felt entirely his own, while still sharing a connection with her ring.
Two very different pieces, brought together by one design.
A little family history, carried forward in a new way.
