Lovely to talk to first year students on the Artist Designer Maker BA (Hons) course Cardiff School of Art & Design | Cardiff Met this week. They visited us Makers Guild Wales - a perfect place to view the best of Craft in Wales. Selected makers across many disciplines show, sell, and run workshops here. We all steward here several days across the year and we are always happy to meet and chat to people about our work 🌟 Come along - all welcome!

Running a business often takes me away from the very thing that brought me here in the first place. I'm happiest just being at the bench, problem solving, calculating, model making, thinking outside the box and using tools which are familiar to my hands.
And yes I use at least three pairs of glasses 🤓

Attended really interesting Creative Learning Partner training recently. Through the Arts Council of Wales Experiment Programme, as CLPs, we will work creatively alongside teachers to bring fresh perspectives, spark curiosity and help learners develop the confidence and skills they'll need for the future. Genius idea 💡

Met this lovely lady who has travelled from Delaware USA to take part in the half marathon tomorrow. She bought a ring of mine here yesterday and came to say hello to me today! A real treat to meet her!
