Background:
 Cardigan Guildhall Market, a Grade 2* Listed Building, opened in 1860, and has undergone a major £3.4M restoration, as well as the development of a new access block, providing lift and stair access from the main shopper’s car park at Greenfield Square.
 The restoration has provided a new roof, new drainage, under-floor heating, new glazing, new plumbing, new electrics, new stalls, repaired and restored floors, windows, doors, decorations and improved lighting.
 Full free broadband connections in every stall as well as public WI-FI, full coverage CCTV, Automatic Doors, Public Toilets on each floor as well as staff only facilities.
 Menter Aberteifi Cyf manages the Market on behalf of the Cardigan Building Preservation Trust, having previously managed it on behalf of Ceredigion County Council.
 As part of the development, a new Cafe area has been created, which will be the anchor for the whole market.

We are therefore inviting Tenders from suitably experienced parties, interested in taking the Cafe/Restaurant on for an initial period expected to be around two to three years.

We are particularly looking for new and exciting ideas that will make the Cafe an interesting, innovative and exciting place to visit, and which will suitably improve and enhance the overall offer and ambience of the Cardigan Guildhall Market.

The successful Tender will:
• Need to demonstrate relevant experience.
• Show an excellent Food Hygiene track record.
• Demonstrate an interesting and exciting business idea.
• Have a sound and well worked out business plan.
• Demonstrate good marketing and promotional skills.
• Commit to keeping the Cafe open for at least 6 days per week and a minimum of 7 hours per day.

2 years ago, I made my first ever blackberry bracelet.

It was inspired by my Grampa and all of the foraging we used to do. Winberries was a favourite, but we sometimes got blackberries and apples too. My Nanny used to make lovely pies with them 😋

When I made this bracelet, I truly made it for myself. I didn’t think it would sell and when it didn’t I was going to happily keep it for myself.

Well, that didn’t happen. I sold the first one and then got requests for more and more of them.

To this day, they are my best seller and they’ve made their way all the way all the way to America (and I still don’t have one for myself 😂).

I don’t follow trends, I follow my heart and that makes it all the more special when my pieces resonate with people.

I would love to highlight your businesses / pages and follow you all.
This world we live in is very scary at the moment. There seems to be a lot of hate and violence directed at the LGBTQ+ community and it absolutely breaks my heart.
If systems need violence to uphold them then they aren’t meant to be there in the first place.

I have a lot of hate in my heart for AI. In a utopian society, no doubt it could be used in helpful ways in balance with the environment and without harm, but unfortunately for us we live under the cloud of capitalism. We don’t need it. We have survived this long without it.
It harms creatives (ask me how many AI resin videos I’ve seen 🙃), it harms the environment, it harms our own intelligence, and it harms people.

Plus, it just looks a bit sh*t doesn’t it?

Anyways, that’s my two pence. I always think it’s important to be transparent about your morals and where you stand on things so that customers can make informed decisions on where they shop 💛

About me…

I love the little things. The things that other people might not notice or care about. The other week I saw the ripples in the river under the bridge and they reminded me of women’s stretch marked skin. It was beautiful.

I rescue little bugs that land in my glass and and allow them to dry off on my hands.

I fed a fly some water in the shop the other day because it was thirsty and who am I to decide if something lives or dies?

Anyways, here’s a bit of a different approach of a get to know me. Less superficial and more to the heart 💛
