🌟 Two Weeks 🌟
The countdown is on. opens in 2 weeks! TWO WEEKS folks!!! Lots of newness on its way like this set of three London Blue stackers. I’ve got more to add to this set - they’ll be available as a set or can be bought separately.
I love them and have been considering keeping them 😂
I’ll be on stand B56 and can’t wait!!!

🌟 I’m back!🌟
I know I’ve been back for a month or so but I’m back to making commissions again as well. I’m sooooo relieved. It’s one thing to make work for the shows and my cabinets but it’s a whole other thing doing bespoke pieces. They require more precision and I’m using elements in the pieces that belong to my customer.
So here we have a beautiful amethyst ring and a lovely turquoise ring.
The amethyst ring was an upcycle and started life in a very delicate setting. This stunning stone was too big for the ring and my customer wanted something more chunky that she could wear without fear of the stone coming loose. So I made a chunky silver ring and setting.
The next ring was for my customer who had the last ring I made before my op (shown in end video). She wanted something for the other hand and I still had a little gold left from her wedding rings. So I made this wide sterling silver ring with a turquoise set in gold.
I loved making these. Don’t get me wrong, they went fairly smoothly but I still had quite a bit of pain and was so so slow. They took a lot longer than normal but my customers were so lovely and patient.
They both had such wonderful reactions to their new rings and I felt so emotional. I can still do it! I had to sign a piece of paper saying the op may not work so I’ve been a little stressed. But it did and I’m getting stronger and more pain free by the day. 🥰

And just like that, it’s all over 🥲
I’ve had a great weekend. I’m home safe and sound, a bit weary but happy!!!
Thanks so much to all who stopped, chatted & admired my jewellery. And to those who gave my jewellery a happy new home, thank you from the bottom of my heart 🙏🏻 Without you, none of this is possible!
Massive thanks to Lynn & Paul at who put on this fab event. It’s so well organised and a pleasure to take part. And the for allowing us to exhibit in their beautiful venue.
And to my talented craft show mates, what superstars you are. You made the weekend such fun and kept my spirits aloft. Thanks so much to for being the best neighbour 💕
Next show is 12th-14th June. I can’t wait xx

🌟 Final Preparations 🌟
My first show of the year is this weekend. Whoop whoop 🥳
It’s the Craft and Design Show at and runs from Friday through to Monday (1st-4th May inc). I’ve been doing this show for several years and I love it. It’s local, really excellently organised, the standard of work is fabulous and it’s generally super busy!
I’ve made lots of new work in the last few weeks, which I can’t wait to show off. I’m a bit shattered and my hand is aching but I’m very happy and I’d love to see you there. Do come and say hi.
We’re open daily from 10am - 5pm and it’s free for RHS members.

✨This is 56 ✨
It’s my birthday and I spent it with my fam in Venice. I booked this holiday just after my surgery in January whilst on the heavy drugs 😂. Turned out to be an excellent decision.
The last few months have been hard work & painful, and for a lot of that time I was house bound but I’m really doing well and pretty much back to normal ahead of the original time scales given by my surgeon.
After Easter I will be back making as usual and I can’t wait!!! I’ll be catching up on outstanding commissions and trying to get some new work made for the Spring show at Hyde Hall over the May bank holiday weekend.
But for now, we have another day in Venice and head home tomorrow night. ❤️

✨ Revisit 🌟
For today’s I thought I’d revisit my first show after graduation. Look at me!!! So young. This was around 1997 and took place just off Bond Street. It was organised by someone I was outworking for. I can’t remember how much it cost but I didn’t make anything. It took years before I started to sell at shows………..it’s so much harder than people think!
I’m much better at it now and more confident. I generally actually make decent sales at the shows I do now. It took a long time to get to this point. I really like my current displays - they’ve certainly evolved since this picture as have I. Those electric blue stand walls were absolutely not my choosing!! I like more subtle colours now with pops of stronger accents.
So! Can you believe I was ever this young & fresh face 😂

🛠️ How It’s Made 🛠️
Mainly by my fair hands!!!! I pretty much handmake everything. I also use other processes like casting and CAD. But as my hands are starting to rebel, I am looking at alternatives. But whatever I do, my jewellery will minimally be hand finished by me, stones selected by me, set by me, polished by me. For some of my more complicated commissions or repairs, I do sometimes enlist the help of the wonderful
The videos show some real time soldering/sawing and then some sped up processes. And the wax to finished piece…..that was such a lovely commission.
