Well this was interesting yesterday. Frances Stunt & Abby Filer ran a poll on their stories asking which necklace of mine you favoured. I had expected it to be the dragonfly one, but the fern necklace came out on top. I guess when I actually think about it my more sculptural leafy pieces have always been popular, along with the bees of course. This helps me with knowing what sort of pieces to take with me to Wilmslow Art Trail next week. What do you think? Were they right? Comment dragonfly or ferns below ⬇️

I’ve been a bit quiet on here, but I’m back!

I did some lovely things towards the end of Summer, including this w**e tasting with matched cheeses 😋

A few days in Ikos Resorts Andalusia. The service, food and facilities here are just amazing 🤩

I joined the book club at pickles | w**e bar, tap room & bottle shop and met some lovely people, including BOOKS ON THE WALL who was super helpful in sourcing my book

Solar eclipse. Being in the path of the full eclipse in 1999 is an experience I’ll never forget. It’s difficult to explain how different the feeling was compared to the one we saw in the UK

Can’t wait to exhibit with Wilmslow Art Trail next month. I’m preparing some gorgeous gemstone rings to take with me

I think I’m ok to show you this special commission now. I was asked to make this ring based on the Leaping Hare PHD ring commission on my website. This time the client wanted to gift a ring to his girlfriend featuring their beloved dog Cherry. He sent me photos and a little sketch of how he envisaged she would look and I translated it into this joyful image of her bounding with her ears flapping behind. We went for a matt finished engraving with gold plate over the top to represent her gorgeous golden coat. I’ll do a little video to show you the rest of the ring later.
