And here is a photo from last weekend at our last family photo shoot.
Managed to get a couple of professional photos of me. Yes happy with them. Jewellery not in focus but who is the star here?! Haha.
Sorry I didn’t post much last week. I actually ended up quite sick - think it was the flu…. And yes soldiered on through it all as one does being a mother (husband abroad on business) and entrepreneur! Still finishing off the decluttering- nearly there and may post some pictures. This job was not a small feat. It has actually been an on going saga. Probably not made urgent as I use an enamel workshop on a Tuesday Riverhouse Barn Arts Centre and have a jewellery workshop elsewhere too.
I can actually see myself working here now. ✨
So it was one of my big jobs for this year even told Design-Nation UK in their quarterly meeting…. Excited to see it come into fruition! Think my enamelling will definitely see an improvement from the 2 hours a week which is the norm!

I have seen quite a number of posts that talk about being perfectly imperfect. Well that is me and again it isn’t as I can be such a perfectionist!! (Thanks Dad)
I suppose this is me showing a vulnerable side which is against my nature being that usual perfectionist. This can be a good thing when making jewellery but to live by can be a challenge.
This is a photo of me taken a number of years ago in Richmond Park! I was smiling, happy but my necklace moved and my hair wasn’t perfect but do you know what… it carries my energy through the photograph, feminine, happy and romantic. .
I love making a family photograph for our Christmas cards and send out about 100! Last year that didn’t happen and a few people missed them but on the other side I managed a small gathering of some of my girlfriends and didn’t have such a burnout in Jan/feb. This is such a busy time being a jeweller and having all 3 of my direct family member’s birthdays in the 3 week run up to Christmas, not including, Christmas calendars, my bro’s birthday on Boxing Day and so on!
So I let it give. Well we have had a family shoot in the spring and summer this year… making up for it. Hopefully will get the photos back this or next week. So you will have some updated ones of me.
This week I am decluttering my office. Francis bacon eat your heart out. Well I am not that bad but have been a work in progress! Thanks .artist and for getting us together!
So I juggle family life, jewellery and my latest finding joy- over the last few years has been learning to be a sound healer .school . They have been amazing and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Funnily enough one half is named Joy✨…. Need I say more!
So I was so exhausted last night and this morning however I did a short meditation to reenergise and set my vibes and held my first official 1:1 sound bath. It was a short half hour with one person. They have been going for 15 years to sound baths and she loved it. She said it was very gentle and relaxing and what she needed. She loved the different instruments I use and even my voice and the way I held the session.

I’ve not shared my ‘Humble bumble’ for a while. One with an emerald, sapphire and ruby flew away to her forever home at my last show. They can be personalised with your choice of stones too creating your own little magical talisman for healing, protection and manifesting.
Rather apt as today is a wonderful date in the calendar for manifesting or so I’ve read on instagram with .
Did you know that bees, and hummingbirds for that matter, are both known for giving the same spirit medicine of - if you go for your dreams (and in my opinion it is never too late to do this!) you get to taste the elixir of life. On one side of my bee you have its cute little body and all its details from its fluffy fur and legs to its proboscis and stinger and on the other a heart which represents your dreams and inside the gemstones representing the elixir of life or the sweet honey. As an added bonus I have carved a little ‘all seeing’ eye in the dip of the heart for protection.
Wish crystals/ gemstones would you have?

Today is world ocean day… being near water is healing, this image was taken I the Maldives a few years ago. The colours are so healing too. I was exhausted when we went here and it was just what I needed to rejunivate.
advocates how important the ocean is in healing our planet. Nothing slid too small and protecting areas is very important. This bottom trawling is devastating to the environment and I have seen small charities making concrete pillars, sculptures etc to stop illegal bottom trawling.
There is so much to be done in protecting too. Especially speed limits help so much especially in helping whales come back from the brink of extinction.
What are your thoughts on these issues and more - would love to hear.

What a fantastic time spent up in King’s Road last week with my lovely friend. Here are a few highlights. I love going around the shop/flower displays during Chelsea flower show. The display with the butterfly was a repeat from inside the show but loved how it was framed by the trees in Kings road. If I can, I try and do both. Will try and post some pics from the show too.

This exquisite necklace adds class to any outfit.
Not only does it have a beautiful rippling water effect with the glass enamel on the surface but the tiny water droplets add an extra sparkle and further dimension. The pearl moves catching the eye and creates a beautiful tinkling noice when you wear it.
This piece also has deeper meaning in that it represents coming out of the dirt (difficult times) and into something beautiful. Those difficult times teaching us, making us stronger and in the end a more beautiful person for them.
This is why the lotus is often used in logos for yoga studios for example.

3 days to go…
I’m excited to be exhibiting .artfair alongside many talented artists and craftspeople. What a beautiful venue also with garden and house tours as-well as taster sessions - so much to enjoy and buy.

This necklace really embodies the essence of trees. I’ve called it ‘trees wisdom’.
A necklace for those who care about the environment, those of you who like handmade and original pieces and something different✨.
Come and see it the first May weekend.
