Occasionally I have students who come to the studio for "Bench Time"
They are often experienced jewellers with fantastic imaginations!.
These faces were a mixture of silver from my scrap pots and the student's own gold as accents.
I think they are stunning and so unique.

A jewellery making gift voucher is the perfect present, with this unusual piece being made in a full day silver jewellery and stone-setting workshop, I wonder how many people would know what this imaginative piece represents?

The silver in the bangle follows the Silverstone Formula One circuit with the red stone shows where the student sat and the white stone was the starting point for the race.
The student is a massive fan of Formula One with this bangle being a reminder of a very special day!

This fabulous eleven stone diamond ring was made using the customer's own gold and diamonds from older jewellery.
We thought that the beautiful stones deserved more than 9ct gold, so we got to work smelting the 9ct gold with 24ct gold grains. This resulted in 18ct gold which was made into the three ring shank and the settings.

I'm so happy with this bangle.
It was fashioned from the customers own gold.
The garnet, aquamarine, amethyst and dark blue sapphire came from the customers rings.
I think the modern design showcases the stones, allowing more light through which improves the colour and sparkle.

These fantastic pieces were made at workshops over the summer here in the Pottery Court studio in Chudleigh.
There are lots of projects to choose from which can be completed in a half or full day workshop.
Either treat yourself or make a present!

These are further stacking rings to add to a larger set made previously.
The plain band was made from the band of the 5 stone diamond ring which also supplied the gorgeous diamond for the second ring.
This leaves four diamonds available for a future project.
The remaining gold was used to offset the cost of the work.
