Ooh I do love a little Black and White 🤍🖤

Beautiful 'Inky Waters', an original ink painting from Bevart & Designs. A quiet, monochromatic study inspired by still waters and soft reflections. Bev creates semi-abstract landscape art from her studio in the heart of the Ribble Valley, all inspired by the beauty of nature and the ever-changing light.

I painted this 30x30 cm acrylic painting last summer.

Painted from direct observation.. I was sat opposite the most beautiful wooded area in Gawthorpe Hall a National Trust Site .

I added a little collage to this one.. the colours are beautiful 🫶

Hi everybody, Beverley here I am also known as Bevart!

I just thought I would pop myself on the grid to say if you are new here then welcome if you’ve been here for a while # then hello it’s nice to still see you are sticking around.

So I am Bev, I used to be a hairdresser and now I’m an artist, I did an art degree back in 2008 and I’ve never looked back since.
I currently work from my studio in central Clitheroe in Lancashire UK. It’s an art studio collective there are seven artists that are resident in the studios, we have a small Gallery space in one big room and then that extends down the corridors, we open to the general public a couple of days a week and we have a regular art walk twice a year.

I have been there a whole 13 years!!!! 🥳

What can I say? Other than? I absolutely love running Atelier Arts… art has always been a passion of mine since I was a little girl.
I love the process, I love art materials, I love making and creating. I love just being around all things arty!!


I also love teaching art related workshops and classes. I teach regular classes four times a week and I also teach in Spain once per year.

I have an online shop where I sell my art prints art work, wooden handmade jewellery and art cards. It’s called the British craft house and I’ve been on that platform for approximately five years. I’ve sold tons and tons of jewellery pieces. I made jewellery over a lockdown.
