Just had a go in the lucky dip for jewellers looking for stud earrings.... why does it take longer to find the last one than the other 49 😂 probably because it was still in the tumbler barrel 😆 and I even checked for stragglers in there at the beginning!

In other news.......I'm melting 🫠😆 currently 31 in the studio.

I can't leave the house at the moment...or the studio 😂 as I am so busy making for this weekends event at Ingatestone!

But Darren had to do an emergency stock drop to Victor & Company in Long Melford, as they were nearly out of stud earrings 😮😀 these are now replenished, so if you need a new pair of studs, head on in. I do need to make some other bits for them too - clearly everyone is loving shopping at Victor and Company, and why wouldn't you, some lovely artisan pieces in there, plus coffee, cake and ice-cream!

Managed a little bit of gardening this morning before the rain got a little too heavy to carry on 😂 The roses were going a bit wild and taking over, with only a small back yard it's noticeable...specially when your washing gets caught up on the thorns....oh the joys of being a grown up 😂

There is something so good about getting out and having a bit of a tidy and now we have some beautiful home-grown roses indoors.

So after the rain stopped play, I've been continuing work on some word bracelet bars I had underway. Not silver or gold, but aluminium and brass and so beautiful all polished up. I love working in all metals, choosing them to suit the design, not because of their perceived value due to price.

A few more to finish and then they will feature in some gorgeous new gemstone bracelets, which will make their debut at the Essex County Craft Show.

Very busy making ready for Essex County Craft Show, which is our next event......though I am actually taking time out at the mo to watch F1 highlights 😀🫢

These are stud earrings in the making. It was a military operation today soldering the posts on, look at the tweezers stood to attention 😂 They will eventually be enamelled in some lovely colours, but not just yet, they have to wait a bit for that.

I have lots more to get made and since everything we sell is completely handmade by me, that means a lot of work and late nights.....but not early mornings, I don't do early mornings 😂 except on event days! And it's so worth all the blood, sweat & tears when ideas become reality.

A little bit more admin to get finished and then making & prepping for our next event, the Essex County Craft Show is where all my attention will be.

We loved being at this event last year and we are excited to get to do it all again this year, plus this year Darren gets to play with his Jazz Trio and that makes him very happy 😊😀

This is a craft show, so beautiful handmade artisan products, a chance to speak to the makers, to hear about the processes. There will be maker demonstrations, workshops to book on, tasty food, drink, music and all in a beautiful setting. A wonderful day out.

While I have my morning coffee and before I get going, I just wanted to do a little shout-out to Kimberley Hall, the venue we were lucky enough to visit for Saturdays event. With the clouds it looks beautiful, with blue skies (it happened now & again) it is even better and turn round and you look out to the lake.

We are so hoping Cornucopia comes back next year as we can't wait to be back!

If you are planning a special day you can book Kimberley Hall for weddings and I can only imagine how special that would be as a venue for your big day!

Prestige County Events will be holding their here in December (unfortunately we won't be there 😕 ...we will be at their Essex & Suffolk fairs ) but winter will add yet another layer of beauty to Kimberley Hall.

Been a pretty unproductive day today, it's been wonderful 😆 I've managed a little tidying and a little admin, but that's about it!...currently watching F1 highlights...that's my energy level today!

So I couldn't give you any exciting or inspirational photos of what I've been up to, what I've made today, because there is nothing 😂 so here's a photo of Pip and Tom chilling in bed.

Should probably do a bit more admin, but we'll see...

We have had a lovely day today at Kimberley Hall, despite the weather meaning we spent a lot of time hanging on to a gazebo and having to adapt our stall, as all the earrings stands blew over as gates opened and it was obvious they weren't going to survive going back out 😂 we did try 😀

Massive thanks to for ratcheting us down so we didn't end up in Oz searching for the wizard! Not sure we'd have survived without you doing that.

Thank you to everyone who came and visited, chatted to us and made purchases from us. It really was a lovely event and we met lots of lovely people.

Also thank you to Kimberley Hall for hosting and the work you all put in.....Claudia, I hope you get to relax soon, you deserve it.

Jewellery boxes and bags all branded and replenished ready for tomorrow. Everything packed up (I think!) I'd show you the front room, but it looks like a storage locker, filled with tables, boxes and bags 😂 we don't travel light 😂

I've finished labelling and packaging the last of the jewellery - really pleased with the new bits I've made.
...I think I might be ready 😯🫣 and that worries me, as I'm never ready this early! Normally still stressing at 11pm!

So anyway, hopefully I have got and take everything...food and most importantly coffee are sorted.....someone remind us to get the tablecloth, it's hanging so as not to crease.

See you at Kimberley Hall tomorrow.

(Oh and most important thing....empty empty boxes packed to refill!)
