A few days in Gozo for Treasures Malta ✨

A very special commission necklace reshaped from two wedding rings 💛

This client came to me wanting to bring two wedding rings together in a way that would create something special for his daughter to treasure, while keeping the original hallmarks intact as a reminder of the years they were made.

I carefully reshaped the two rings into hearts, which fit together perfectly. The inside heart also swivels around, revealing the hallmark on the larger heart, preserving those wee special details that made the original rings so meaningful.

Throwing it back to this necklace I made for the Other Worlds exhibition in Castleblayney many moons ago 🌝🌙

This is just one of three necklaces, each inspired by different moon phases and religious practices, all made from sterling silver.

Since sound, vibrations and hymns are common across many religious practices, I used cymatics to capture a feel-good frequency in the design, creating a beautiful textured finish to the necklace!

The Dílseacht Heart 💛🤍

The Claddagh ring is the famous symbol for love, loyalty and friendship and I wanted to keep an essence of that pretty much throughout the whole collection.

So I went for ‘Dílseacht’. A really beautiful Irish word that simply means, loyalty.

🌎🌎Happy Earth Day !! 🌎🌎

Being able to make jewellery, ethically and with the world in mind, gives me a great deal of joy and is such a contributing factor to why I continue to do what I do. I’m going to take today to slow down and reflect a bit on how I can continue to do my part for the planet and how I can incorporate new sustainable practices into my jewellery making moving forward! But for now, here’s a few things I do that I’m very proud of 😊

🌱All my collection pieces are made from 100% recycled metals (except for chains!)

🌱All items are shipped with a handmade pouch created using zero-waste pattern.

🌱Packaging boxes are made from recycled cardboard, FSC approved and fully biodegradable.

🌱I STRONGLY recommend that you don’t dump your old jewellery! I offer a remodelling service so if you have any old sentimental pieces that you’d like to give new life and new meaning to, get in touch and we can get started!
