It's been a while since we posted due to holidays and taking time to settle children in, both at the setting and on their new journey at school (inclusive of our own children). The children are adapting well as we find our feet with new routines and friendships.

I thought I would add some photos of what we have been up to and we look forward to sharing more fun, Autumn activities very soon.

It's been a tough week, but we done it- sweatier than ever!! 💦
Water play, a dip in the pool and ice play, along with ice pops and cold watermelon has kept us going...just about 🤣

We also managed a quick game of football to get us talking about the World Cup.

Here's to all those in childcare still pushing through to tomorrow 💪 you've got this!!

Some of our activities recently, concentrating on transport.
The children have enjoyed mark making, spotting different forms and colours of transport whilst out on our walks, making fruit rockets for snack, making rockets to blast into space using straws, singing transport songs during rhyme time and opening our own car wash!!! All this and there is still more to come...

This might be something that interests any children starting primary in September 2026 in the local area... a good chanc...

To celebrate World Earth day today we ventured out to our local park/field and helped keep our planet clean.

We borrowed some litter pickers from our friend Vaughan and spoke to a local council worker who supplied us with some bin bags etc.

The children thoroughly enjoyed collecting rubbish for almost 2 hours whilst we spoke about the dangers of litter in our environment for both humans and animals.
