The 2nd item of Mohamed 's commission, a Spectacular Rectangular Gents Ring with a Hand Textured Band.
Mo requested a Rectangle with an eyecatching Purple Colour which I created with a mix of several shades of Purple Mica powders infused in resin to create an intense Regal pigment, I suggested Opal Shards to add a more luxurious and eyecatching appearance to which he said 'oh yes please'. I've achieved the look I wanted for Mo and he recieved his Ring today, he left wearing it and was extremely happy with his new ring.

My most recent commission, it has to be said a first for me, it was a challenge and took some serious patience it also required me for the first time to try out my Gravers to apply ornate engraving, really not as easy as you think but very therapeutic and has pushed me to attend a class in the future.
I was asked to make a Jambiya also known as a Yemeni Dagger Pendant by a lovely Chap Mo that works at the same Hospital as me after he had heard I make Custom Jewellery.
The History
The Jambiya is a symbol of identity and Pride it signifies status, heritage protection and courage to its wearer. Different Cultures say it also symbolises the sharpness of intellect.
Mo, if there is anything you'd like to add that I may have missed please feel free to say as I'm sure people will not know about this and find it interesting as I have myself, for me its good to know the story behind the piece.

Today is my last day of this little challenge and its BLUE for SATURDAY this is a personal favourite, first because the customer was an absolute Darling and 2 because I love the effect these tiny Glass shards create, here youll see me placing the glass one by one into the Bezel with tweezers before I add resin to seal.
