Danny Cooley has been in the Jewellery Trade 1952 starting off in clock repairs. In 1979 Danny opened his first business in a small shop in Butcher Street accompanied by his daughter Brenda who also left school to help father and is still here today as Manageress. Danny felt Butcher Street wasn’t the most ideal site for the shop therefore opened another business in Shipquay Street, during this tim

e it was the height of the troubles and in 1981 a number of shops in Butcher Street were targets of firebombs including his own, therefore Danny took the decision to concentrate on the one shop and then extended to our current site in 1998.
