Some curations come together in one appointment. Others evolve slowly, piece by piece—and this lovely client’s ears are a beautiful example of the latter. ✨
This has been a true collaboration between our client, Lauryn, and Steph, and it's been an absolute pleasure to work on. She’s become a real favourite of ours, and we’ve loved watching her collection gradually come together.
It all began with the Rivendells, custom-ordered especially at her request. From there, Lauryn helped select Sumire, while Steph suggested the beautiful Amethyst Stella—another custom order, chosen specifically to pick up the purple tones already in her collection.
As the curation evolved, we swapped her existing firsts and seconds and shuffled pieces around, playing with placement, colour, and scale to create cohesion and balance across both ears. Steph then pierced the third pair using Speakeasy and Stella, with Lauryn helping to choose Speakeasy. Then came the left fourth… added by Steph later, after our client fell completely in love with the Antler. 🤍
The result is a collection that feels beautifully considered without looking overly matched. The gold brings everything together, while flashes of Amethyst, blue, and opalescent tones, alongside different shapes and sizes, give each ear its own personality while still working beautifully as a pair. And this is where we landed. ✨
A curation that wasn’t simply chosen from a display in one sitting, but built over time around our client, her existing collection and the pieces she genuinely loved.
It’s been an absolute pleasure creating this one together — and really, that’s what ear curation is all about. It doesn’t have to happen all at once. It can grow and evolve with you.
