The studio is closed for the Easter break 🐣 and some lovely jewellery has been made during this term, individual projects, one day workshops and wedding rings ✨

The new term starts from the 14th April, with 6 week courses. Tuesday and Wednesday morning and the Wednesday evening course.

A belated happy new year! Classes are starting back in my Christchurch studio this week. My morning classes are full, but I do have 2 last minute places available on my evening course.
Starting from this Thursday 15th January to 12th February, 7-9pm.

Learn to cut, shape, texture and soldering your individual jewellery designs. This 5 week course is a cost of £100, plus materials.

If you are interested in a Saturday workshop, I have spaces on 7th February. Create either stacking rings, pendant, earrings or bangles.

Getting pieces ready for the annual winter jewels exhibition Romsey.

I will be exhibiting as one of 25
Jewellers from Wednesday 26th November until 5th January.

Back to the UK with a bump, after our amazing holiday to see family in the Cayman Islands.

Will be trying to recreate the amazing colours and scenery in my jewellery, after feeling inspired by all the beautiful colours of the sea and the wild sunsets.

I had a lovely couple in the studio at the weekend. Anna and George created silver rings, during a private workshop to celebrate George’s 30th birthday.

George made a wide band, textured with hammer marks, whilst Anna made a thinner band with a setting for an oval rose quartz cabochon stone.
They did a great job and created two very individual keepsakes.

I usually hold private workshops or wedding ring workshops during a Friday or a Saturday. These are for a duration of 3-6 hours, depending on what is being made.

I have some new silver clay workshop dates in the studio, for this Autumn and Winter with Jo Richard’s from

Friday 3rd October and 5th December
10am to 4pm, £100 per person including all materials.

Learn to make pieces of jewellery with silver clay, shape, texture and set cubic zirconia into your individual creations.

Jo will instruct you as to how to shape, roll out and cut your clay: using moulds or textured rollers.
You will be drying and firing the clay with a torch or kiln, to reveal your solid silver pieces. During the workshop expect to make between 2 and 4 pieces, depending on size.

We had a great sea glass ring workshop in the studio at the weekend.
We created some sterling silver settings, for some beautiful pieces of glass.
Carefully fitting the bezel, before attaching a base.
Next the strips for the ring bands were chosen, shaped and cut to size.
Once the two elements were made, we carefully soldered these together.

After cleaning and polishing, the glass was ready to be set in, carefully rubbing over the silver to hold the stone.

Gorgeous finished rings! 💚🩵

The studio is busy over the next few months, with silver clay workshops and silversmithing classes. My next sea glass workshop will be in the new year.

I have been getting the studio ready for jewellery classes starting back in September.

I have one place on my morning and one place on my evening course available last minute. These are 5 week courses and are a cost of £95 + materials:

Wednesday 17th September to 15th October, 10am to12pm

Thursday 18th September to 16th October, 7-9pm.

Learn to pierce/cut your own designs from sheet silver, texture, shape and solder, before polishing your finished jewellery.

It’s been a quiet few weeks in the studio, with a break in workshops and classes for Summer. Good timing with the electrical works and road closures in Christchurch, I have walked, cycled and even taken the Wick ferry across the river, just to avoid the queueing in the car!

Over the last few weeks I have made use of the slower pace, and have been working on some gemstone and enamelled pieces in silver.

Saturdays workshops will start again from 6th September and weekday morning and evening courses from 16th September. Details of Autumn classes are on my website (link in bio) or feel free to comment or DM and I can message you the info.
