Hi Everyone! Just a wee heads up I will be taking some family time over Easter so my Etsy shop will be put on holiday mode this Sunday. Orders placed before then will dispatch Monday, but after that I probably won't be posting anything until Tuesday April 7th due to the two Bank Holidays, just in case anyone has early April birthdays they are thinking of purchasing for. Sharing my pretty dragon egg pendants today, because they're the closest thing to Easter eggs I have!

What a horrible day out there! It's too cold for the studio so I've decided to try and catch up with some listings instead. These dainty little pendants are another way I use up my scrap silver- tiny little off cuts are weighed into portions then melted into balls. I then flatten and press them into a steel die using 20 tonnes of force in a hydraulic press, which is a really satisfying process! They are all hand cut, finished and polished before being oxidised to enhance the surface detail. These three beauties have just been listed in my Etsy shop, just one of each available x

Braved the rain today to do a wee stock drop off at Flourish Dumfries, lots of lovely Spring colours in amongst them, just a shame the weather didn't get the memo!

Mother's Day is fast approaching, but if you are still needing inspiration there are currently almost 300 lovely listings in my Etsy shop! Everything is made from solid sterling silver and comes gift boxed as standard, I even include an 18" chain with my pendants so they are ready to wear or gift. If you need anything wrapped just let me know and I can add a hand written tag and gift wrap at no additional cost, you can even elect to send direct to the recipient if time is an issue. Don't forget to check out my Folksy shop too, there's one or two listings there that aren't available anywhere else!

Just a wee heads up that the gemstone circle pendants have just been listed in my Etsy, three gemstones available- Russian amazonite, blue lace agate and blue aventurine but only one of each. I'm really enjoying making these recycled silver pendants at the moment, there's something very satisfying about bringing scrap back to life.

Coming soon, recycled sterling silver circle pendants, each with a different gemstone centre. These have been so lovely to make, there's something really satisfying about using up my off cuts and unravellings like this instead of melting them down! As always, chasing my tail this week- I'm drowning in paperwork and desperately behind with my restocking so the listings aren't quite finished, but I will let you know first here and on my Instagram when they are available to purchase x

Having a mini phot shoot day today! Unusually the sun was shining earlier on here and it has a slightly Spring like feel today (whisper it, don't scare it away!) so I'm taking advantage of the pretty light to capture another batch of these raw aquamarines. Some of my listings are made over and over again and unless the shade of the gemstone is vastly different I don't tend to change my photos for each listing. But when you get pendants like these that are all unique I like to try and photograph each batch if time allows, that way you can see all the gorgeous variations you get in raw gemstone jewellery.

It's been a bitterly cold day here in Dumfries, and too dull to take photos unfortunately! I've a few new designs lined up for my Etsy shop, just waiting on a little sunshine to get my pictures. These little raw aquamarines are new, luckily I managed to get them listed last week when it was a little brighter!

It's a bitterly cold day here in Dumfries, so I'm glad to have the excuse I need to stay in and pack up some orders! Everyone has beautiful taste today- there's some lovely pieces heading out in the post tomorrow, including a lovely custom amazonite pendant and a one-of-a-kind silver clay botanical pendant. Thanks so much for keeping me so busy!

There is another couple of hearts available today in my Etsy shop, I'm struggling a bit with sore hands in this cold weather so I didn't get as many made yesterday as I'd hoped. I've had a great response to these which is very encouraging, particularly as they are made from off-cuts and unravellings from my scrap pot. With the price of silver still terrifying it's nice to know beautiful things can be made from materials I already have x
