Kathy Burns Jewellery, Dunkeld

Kathy Burns Jewellery, Dunkeld Welcome to my page, here you can see a selection of my sterling silver and enamelled copper jewellery, each piece hand made and unique.

Please contact me via email or messenger if you'd like to place an order. The jewellery I make is usually quite spontaneous, I don't like to follow a plan too far, preferring to shut myself away in my shed, bang, hammer and solder and enjoy the creation! It is for this reason that no two pieces I make are ever the same. My inspiration is the beautiful views around my house in Little Dunkeld in Hig

hland Perthshire. Birnam Hill is at my back door, Birnam wood with its ancient Oak just five minutes walk away and the historic village of Dunkeld, nestled in the Tay valley, just across the famous Telford Bridge. It is here that the highland fault line cuts through the landscape exposing the craggy rough rockfaces, where the sharp lines of the Highland hills and mountains start to appear. With these views on offer each time I leave the house, how could I not be inspired to create beautiful jewellery with real texture, layers and shape. I am proud of each piece of jewellery I make and I could never sell an item that I do not adore myself.
