Two Skies Scotland

Two Skies Scotland Unique, high-quality jewellery featuring gemstones from around the world (but especially Scotland!)

No adventure is too crazy, no risk is too great, no journey too extreme, when Adam McIntosh sets about sourcing his rare and unusual gems. Born in Scotland and raised in Papua New Guinea, he is renowned for his environmentally sound and ethically created designs. The chief of the Mi'kmaq tribe named Adam 'Two Skies' on one of his many expeditions to places ranging from the dark jungle of the Amazo

n to the tropical reefs of Fiji. Each piece of his sustainably sourced jewellery comes with its own fascinating story, and can be traced from origin to creation. Adam currently lives in a tree house on an organic farm outside Edinburgh, Scotland.

Celebrating 300 years since the birth of James Hutton, the Scottish geologist whose revolutionary ideas helped us understand the immense age of our planet. 🌍

Standing beneath Arthur’s Seat, Hutton saw evidence that the Earth was shaped not by sudden events, but by processes unfolding over vast spans of time ~ a concept he famously described as having “no vestige of a beginning, no prospect of an end.” ✨

This Two Skies jewellery features Arthur’s Seat Jasper, a gemstone formed through the same geological story written into the ancient volcanic landscape of Edinburgh. Its rich bands and colours are a reminder that every stone carries a history far older than us. 🌋

From the slopes of Arthur’s Seat to the jewellery we create today, Scotland’s geology continues to inspire wonder. 🌿

Happy 300th Birthday James Hutton! 🎂

All jewellery in this post is available on our website (link in bio) & we have large unique collection of Arthur’s Seat Jasper jewellery in our Edinburgh store 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We’re so excited to finally announce the grand opening of our Rock & Gemstone Museum as part of the Scottish Geology Festival! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This museum has been many years in the making, carefully curated by gemmologist and Two Skies founder Adam McIntosh. The collection showcases some of Scotland’s most exceptional rocks and gemstones, alongside high-grade fossils and mineral specimens from around the world. 🗺️

This is a unique opportunity to meet Adam in person and gain an insight into his world-class collection, built through more than 20 years of mining, exploration, and gemstone collecting. ⛏️

As this is a private collection, the museum will only be open to the public a handful of times each year, making this a particularly rare opportunity to experience these extraordinary specimens up close. ✨

Following an incredible response on Eventbrite, all guided tour spaces for the day are now fully booked. However, Adam would like to invite all of his followers to join us for an open after-party from 5PM to 8PM. Feel free to bring your own refreshments, explore the museum at your own pace, and celebrate this exciting milestone with us. ❤️

We look forward to welcoming you to our Rock & Gemstone Museum for an unforgettable day of geology, gemstones, and discovery. 💫
