A little re stock of the wave hoops in gold plated silver. A perfect little everyday hoop earring.

Every so often I challenge myself to develop a piece that you want to reach for every day, that’s easy to wear, that is simple yet interesting. These earrings belong to that family of designs. I use myself as the ultimate tester.. a few years since I first made these and I’m still reaching for them 〰️

This piece found its way to its new home recently so I’ve been thinking about the next iteration that I will make of this design. With each necklace in this style, I have made a slight variation; different gauge, a different scale, a different texture. It gives each one a different feeling.

I like this because it makes each piece unique in a subtle way. It brings a different sense of life to each one and it means that you know that the necklace that you own is the only one with its particular character.

Silver rings and sunshine, yes please 🌞
I like to think about how a ring feels. Soft shapes, sculptural forms that invite play, bring comfort and have a satisfying weight on the hand.

The quiver earrings in silver, named due to their shimmery movement. I’m trying to find balance in the pieces that I create, between geometric forms and softness through movement. Elegant and strong, structured and playful.

Help! I have made a ring that is so shiny that it’s almost impossible to photograph. I love this design so much that I really want to share it with you.

A still image doesn’t truly capture the softly sculptural form and it’s impossible to avoid the reflections of my hands, camera and face. The second image is case in point 😅

I’ve been wondering if I should take a different approach. Maybe I shouldn’t fight the reflections, maybe I can use them. Today I took it on a walk to the orchard and the reflections caught the buds and blossom and a brief moment of sun.

Should I take this piece on more adventures?

These are one of my newest earring designs. I wanted to create a piece that quivers, trembles and flutters at the slightest movement of the body. Subtle, elegant and a little bit unexpected. As demonstrated by my slightly shaky hand 😅
