The 36mm Explorer differences: 114270 vs. 124270.

Lug Width: 114270 = classic 20mm. 124270 = 19mm with a sharper taper, giving the case a bolder stance. The 3-6-9: 114270 features solid, unlumed white gold numerals. 124270 fills them with blue Chromalight.

Movement: 114270 runs Caliber 3130 (48h power reserve). 124270 upgrades to Caliber 3230 (70h reserve + Chronergy escapement).

Clasp: 114270 uses the older stamped clasp. 124270 boasts a milled Oysterlock with a 5mm Easylink extension.

Dial Details: 114270 keeps a clean rehaut. 124270 adds the engraved “ROLEX” rehaut and inner AR coating on the crystal for a deeper black dial.
