This one has been fun to make, and another case of “where has the day gone?”

Handcrafted with lots of patience, fabric, and a slightly unhealthy obsession with “just one more little detail.” 🧡

A more challenging project than I anticipated, but every project is a “win or learn” experience — and this one was definitely a bit of both.

He’s taking shape, slowly….

Tackling this Kinusaiga piece is definitely a challenge! It’s taking shape, though—one tiny piece of (fraying 😩) fabric at a time.
It’s a real learning experience, but I’m enjoying making it slowly come together.

Not sure there will be too many tweedy dogs in the future though! 🤣

This cute Kinusaiga flower and heart project is now finished, and I’m quite pleased with how it has turned out.
Each little piece of fabric has been carefully chosen and placed to create this textured design.
And now it’s ready for its next journey… heading off to Germany soon!
I’m always delighted when one of my handmade pieces gets to travel and become part of someone’s home. 💕

Here we go…… my new obsession!
Kinusaiga has officially taken over my life! 😂

I sit down for “just five minutes” and suddenly it’s four hours later, I’ve forgotten what day it is, the housework is still waiting, and apparently the outside world still exists?!

I’ve completely zoned out and lost track of everything else, but I’m quite pleased with the outcome.

✨ A little change of direction at LillaLu-C! ✨

As many of you know, resin has been a big part of what I create — but resin and all the materials that come with it has always been quite expensive. And, like everything, those costs are rising.

So, rather than letting that stop the creativity, I’ve been exploring some new crafts and experimenting with different ways to make unique pieces.

I’ve been having quite a bit of fun working with fabric, colours, textures and patterns to create pictures with a completely different feel. Each piece is handmade and a little bit different.

I’m excited to see where this new journey takes us, and I hope you’ll enjoy discovering the new creations with me!

(I’ll still be working with resin, albeit on a smaller scale for now.)
