A stunning reworked pendant, a silver & 9ct gold flower pendant adorned with rose cut diamonds and pearls on a new 9ct chain.
Rose cut diamonds are one of the earliest forms of diamond cutting, with their history dating back several centuries. Recognised by their flat base and domed, faceted surface, the cut takes its name from its resemblance to the petals of a rose, which suits this flower pendant perfectly.
This was reworked in our Exeter workshop to give it a new lease of life

A beautiful Victorian pendant, crafted in silver and set throughout with sparkling paste stones crafted to come alive in candlelight. The openwork design is centred by an elongated portrait panel, framed by scrolling ribbons and floral detailing, with a delicate pearl drop suspended beneath. A wonderfully romantic piece, full of the intricate detail synonymous with Victorian jewellery

Flower cluster jewellery became particularly popular during the Victorian and Edwardian eras, when jewellers drew heavily on the natural world for inspiration. Arranged to resemble the petals of a flower, clusters brought together multiple stones surrounding a pearl. These Old Mine Cut diamonds have a distinctive character that were hand cut and polished, rather than produced to the precise proportions of modern cuts. Set into silver, their soft, irregular forms sit beautifully against the cool tone of the metal
