From a pair of unworn emerald earrings to a collection my lovely customer Fran and I dreamed up together.

We reworked the stones into a series of showstopping pieces. A glowing emerald ring, a treasure trove of diamond stacking rings and a stunning pendant to match. Keeping the history of the stones, but giving them a new life and a place in Fran’s everyday.

I’m so looking forward to returning to Craft Festival Bovey Tracey this June.

It’s been a few years since I last exhibited there, but it has always been such a brilliant show. I’m especially looking forward to catching up with old friends, fellow exhibitors, and some of my longest-standing customers.

Set on the edge of Dartmoor, the festival brings together over 200 makers from across the UK for a weekend of craftsmanship, workshops, talks, films and good food.

It will be lovely to swap the workshop for a bustling, creative field for a few days.

If you’re visiting, do come and say hello.

I love making rings like this - building up layers of colour, shape and texture until it feels balanced from every angle. There are deep ocean blues, pale sea greens and flashes of white diamonds scattered throughout, with each cut catching the light differently.

It reminds me a little of looking into rock pools on bright days, where tiny details suddenly reveal themselves the longer you look.

A scatter of sapphires and diamonds like little treasures around your wrist.

I sourced this mix of different shapes and tones. Nothing too matched. More like little finds gathered over time.

Set together, they just work. Soft shifts in colour, each stone doing its own thing.

It’s always a balance. Letting the stones speak, without overdoing it.

A show-stopping treasure trove of rings.

This stack features diamonds in all different shapes and sizes, each one with its own character. I love how the warm gold organically wraps around each stone as if they’ve just been unearthed.

I think I’d glance down at my hand more often than strictly necessary if I wore this 🤩

A one-of-a-kind signet ring that features an arrangement of sapphires in different shapes and tones to mirror the natural forms of scattered rockpools on the Cornish shore.
The textured 9ct gold surface was carved to follow the pear cut stones to give this ring an organic feel. Now available to view in our Falmouth shop 🌊
