Today is my last day at the hut before I close to prepare to open a shop on The Old High Street! 🤗

I opened the doors to my first hut on Saturday 4th May 2024, so have been on site (in two other huts since) for a little over two years. 🌊

During this time have met lots of visitors, customers that have become friends, other traders that have been a great community, the friendly and supportive management that keep things running and the operatives that keep the place looking fabulous. My thanks go out to everyone that has been welcoming to me, at a time where I was new to the area and didn’t know anyone! 🥰

I hope to see familiar faces when I open my shop on The Old High Street, the date will be announced next month. In the meantime, please follow my new account as I’m rebranding to 🤗

It’s with a mixture of emotions, including great excitement, that I can announce that I’m going to be a shop keeper! 🤗

I’m closing the doors to my hut at the harbour this weekend (Sunday 31st May) and take on 65 The Old High Street - formerly Moo Like A Monkey.

I have been at my hut at Folkestone Harbour for just over two years and loved being here. I have always wanted to be by the sea and I couldn’t get much closer! I have made some lovely friends with other traders, management and operatives and will certainly miss them, but I’m ready for my next step.

The shop will give me scope to open to my own hours, restart my beginners jewellery making workshops and work in the warm and dry throughout the year! I hope to open before the end of June 🤞

The triple starfish necklace! 🤩 So new that it’s not even on the website yet!

Nothing gives more beach and holiday vibes than a starfish, but I do love this statement piece.

The starfish are cast from a real starfish for natural detail. I kept this as a silver finish rather than the black that makes the detail pop.

Dm for info or pop into the hut. Open from 11-4 today, then 11-6 tomorrow and Sunday!

I’m rather partial to a pinky-red, Ruby Rouge is my hair colour and this ruby matches it rather nicely! 🤗

This is work in progress, a setting for one half of a pair of earrings that are a commission. It’s a remodel from a pair that my customer received as a Ruby anniversary gift, forty years is a long time! It will have its claws soldered on tomorrow, along with a jump ring to attach it to an ear hook, then its partner needs to be made! ♥️

Hopefully tomorrow is a bit cooler!

The lists seem to be endless but I know it will be worth it in the end. I think most of us girls like new stationery, my new stamp has arrived, I’m determined not to stamp everything in my path!

Today I need to order new boxes with the new two tone inSilver and Gold logo.
