We are thrilled to announce that Caitlin Murphy and Laura Winnard have joined David and Damian Carr as Directors of Carr’s Jewellers!

Welcoming the 8th generation of the Carr family, our jeweller Caitlin first learnt her crafting skills working alongside her uncle Damian before achieving her degree at the Birmingham City University in Jewellery design for industry. With over a decade of experience, Caitlin is a specialist in CAD design and bespoke jewellery ✨

Our business manager Laura Winnard first started her career with Carr’s as a Saturday team member over 14 years ago, before achieving a first class business degree with the Open University. Laura is incredibly proud to manage our wonderful family business in the heart of Garstang ✨

Working alongside David and Damian Carr, Caitlin and Laura look forward to continuously developing the business for a bright future with the core mission of providing friendly, personal and professional service and to do the best we can for every customer, old and new ✨

Bringing you something very special this afternoon, we are thrilled to share this recent bespoke project by our jeweller Caitlin ✨

The modern solitaire design features a natural square radiant cut fancy yellow diamond, enveloped in a crisp half rub-over setting in rich 18ct yellow gold for a seamlessly elegant result.

We were thrilled to work collaboratively with the client to bring their bespoke design to life, for a modern yet timeless piece that can be enjoyed for a lifetime ✨

This recent project involved melting the client’s own sentimental precious metal to form the band, before selecting a beautiful trilogy of gemstones to create a piece that perfectly blends past and present.
