A huge great warm and sparkly thank you to you all for the wonderful two days 🤗
This time last year, just a few weeks into moving to Wirksworth and opening , I was sitting in my venue .microcafe, thinking that I just needed to go with whatever happened that weekend. I didn't really know Belper, and I hadn't exhibited at the Arts Trail before.
But you came; you said lovely things about my work; you bought special pieces of jewellery; and you were interested in my forthcoming workshops 💚
And you came back this year!

But of course, this year, you were familiar faces. You came wearing the jewellery you've bought from me, or that you've made yourself. THAT gives me the warmest feeling ☺️ You came to say how much you enjoyed a workshop, or that you were looking forward to joining a class in the future.

But maybe best of best, was how many of you who came, I now can call friends. Friends who came in to say hello; to check if I needed coffee; to bring a mate who hadn't seen my work; or just to natter. I dreamt of creating a community of makers - a space which stimulates creativity, harnesses friendships and celebrates the joy of just being in a lovely space (with cake, obvs) with lovely people. And I couldn't have done that without all of you 🥰
