🎶💃 What a fantastic way to end the week! 💃🎶

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of singing, dancing, and plenty of smiles on Friday. The cooler weather made it even more enjoyable as everyone joined in the fun and shared some special moments together.

A huge thank you to Heidi for her fantastic performance and for getting everyone moving and singing along. The highlight of the afternoon was definitely The Locomotion – there were lots of happy faces and dancing feet! 🚂🎵

Activities like these encourage social connections, and create lasting memories for our residents.

Thank you, Heidi, for helping us finish the week on such a high note! ❤️

Our residents have been making the most of the sunshine by staying cool and hydrated with refreshing Rocket ice lollies 🍧💙
There’s nothing better than relaxing in the garden, admiring the beautiful views, and enjoying a little taste of summer together 🌸🌿

Moments like these bring smiles, laughter, and lovely memories for everyone here at the home ❤️

We have several roles currently available in our kitchen:

• Kitchen Porter - 2 days p/week (some weekend work required) hours between 8am - 3pm with ½ unpaid break. Washing up and putting all utensils and crockery away, ensuring deliveries are put away properly with stock rotation a priority and keeping on top of the cleaning rota.

• General Assistant - this role is for 2 days p/week (some weekend work required) hours between 11.30am - 8pm with ½ unpaid break. This role requires assisting the Chef with serving lunch, preparing vegetables and potatoes, making light dinners for residents, washing up etc. You would be required to be alone in the kitchen from 3pm -8pm ensuring dinner is served to residents (with carers help) and the kitchen is left in the correct way.

• No.2 Chef to prepare breakfast and lunch for residents of the care home. 2 x days p/week 7am - 3pm with ½ unpaid break. Flexible days but some weekend work will be required.

🎶☕ Another wonderful activity for Dementia Awareness Week today!

Our residents enjoyed a lovely tea party filled with conversation, laughter, delicious cakes, and the nostalgic sound of classic vinyl records playing in the background. 🎵🍰

The cakes were beautifully decorated by the residents themselves earlier this morning, making the afternoon even more special and personal. Moments like these help spark memories, encourage conversation, and bring happiness to everyone involved. ❤️

Yesterday afternoon we enjoyed planting up our pots and spending some time together. 🌼🌿

As part of Dementia Awareness Week, we also planted Forget-Me-Not seeds. The Forget-Me-Not flower is a well-known symbol of dementia awareness, representing remembrance, love, and support for those living with dementia and their families. 💙

We are looking forward to watching the flowers bloom while continuing to raise awareness and show support for such an important cause.
