Tom Coll Jewellery A family owned business since 1984, Tom Coll Jewellery is Scotland's largest pre-owned Rolex specialist.

Featuring a striking oval step cut centre diamond, beautifully complemented by two exceptionally rare shield cut diamonds, both GIA certified D colour and Internally Flawless.

Each diamond has been personally hand selected by Steven Coll, carefully bringing together three remarkable stones to create a truly extraordinary piece.

This week on workshop Wednesday, head jeweller, Michael, creates a three stone engagement ring featuring a show-stopping 2.19ct D colour cushion cut natural diamond and trillion cut diamond shoulders.

Michael melts down the yellow gold shank in order to keep the sentimental value in the new ring. The new platinum setting can then be soldered in place and prepared for the stones to be set. A final polish reveals a magnificent display of craftsmanship that the customer will treasure for years to come.

This week’s workshop Wednesday follows the creation of a bespoke masterpiece. Our customer commissioned this ring to be created using baguette diamonds, peridots and yellow gold all from old jewellery.

Head jeweller, Michael, forms the ring from three separate bands to achieve the desired result. He then beautifully sets the gemstones with great care, resulting in a show-stopping piece of craftsmanship.

An icon of Rolex sports watchmaking, elevated in 18ct yellow gold. ✨

This 1995 Rolex Daytona belongs to the celebrated Zenith era a period that has become increasingly sought after by collectors for its character, rarity and place in Daytona history.

Finished entirely in yellow gold and accompanied by its box, papers and swing tags, this is a beautifully complete example of one of Rolex’s most recognisable chronographs.

Diamond clarity explained 💎

VVS, VS, SI… but what does it actually mean when you’re choosing a diamond?

The highest clarity grade isn’t always the best choice for you. Depending on the cut, some inclusions can be far harder to see than others, and a well selected SI diamond can still look beautifully clean to the eye.

It’s all about choosing the right stone, not just the grade on the certificate.
