Rugged textures in gold for 'Love Ring' at Tomfoolery!

The Love Ring showcase is a celebration of alternative wedding, engagement and commitment rings. I'm over the moon to be part of it and to show with Tomfoolery for the first time.

Absolutely thrilled to be included in Goldsmiths’ Fair’s display of 100 brooches at Collect, the leading international fair for contemporary craft and design.

“As 2024 marks the 20th year of Collect, we’ve got some special plans to celebrate.

We’re bringing together 100 brooches by 100 Goldsmiths’ Fair exhibitors from recent years. As wearable sculpture, brooches allow the jeweller and silversmith to show off their techniques on a bigger scale than is possible with other types of jewel, and give the wearer a constant talking point.” -

I hadn’t made any statement pieces for a while, so I was really excited to use this opportunity to make a piece I had been thinking about for ages but hadn’t given myself the time to make. Dependent on deadlines as always!

You can view my Fracture brooch in oxidised silver and keumboo, alongside the other 99 brooches by recent Goldsmiths' Fair exhibitors at stand E11 in the beautiful Somerset House in London.

Wedding rings for K&C who got married on beautiful Tiree last month! They loved the colour of 18ct white gold but also had an 18ct yellow gold ring gifted by family that they wanted to include, so we decided on these two tone marble textured bands 💛🩶

Wedding rings for N and M, collected this weekend. We discussed how I could incorporate details of a special place in the design so I picked out sections of photos they sent me to create textured samples in silver.

So here's the final rings in 9ct yellow gold, the photos they sent for inspiration and my little hammer drawings 🔨🔨🔨

Last call for June brides and grooms!

I'm taking a few weeks off from the 20th May to 15th June. I've only got space for one more couple so if you're still thinking of ordering wedding rings for a June wedding please get in touch by Sunday.

For early July you have another couple of weeks! Orders for weddings before 20th July need to be in progress before I finish in May so I can guarantee delivery in time.

Goldsmiths' Fair 2021

Thank you so so much to everyone who visited, chatted, purchased and ordered pieces over the last week. It was a wonderful feeling to be back at Goldsmiths' Fair and to see my lovely customers in person again! I had a great time.
Thank you to the team who put on an incredible event given the circumstances this year, making us all feel safe in the process.
Thank you to all the exhibitors, it was wonderful seeing you again and seeing your amazing new work.

Last night a lovely customer told me that she has worn her silver and keumboo square ring almost every day for 3 years. (We think its been 3 years... I have no concept of time anymore) Anyway, it just made me really happy to know that it makes her so happy! These are favourites of mine and it's been so much fun chatting to visitors at Goldsmiths' Fair about them again.

I only have a few left but everything can be made to order. If you can't visit the fair I can send you a ring sizer
