Here’s a sneak peek of my book “Cruise of the Damned” due for release 31st October:

The Garnet Sovereign glided through the dark waters of the Atlantic. Faint outlines of other vessels trailed behind her like ducklings following their mother. They were surrounded by a thick, dark fog. Red and menacing, it protected the ship and her children like a womb.
They hunted the seas like a pack of dogs, rounding on easy prey fallen foul of the whims of the sea or weather. These unlucky ships joined her children in the mist, extending their ’family’ and enhancing the numbers of the pack. Occasionally they got lucky and came across a larger vessel full of life, and ripe for the picking, as its desperate crew and passengers fought to save themselves from an inevitable drowning. Sometimes they followed those vessels to the sea floor and fed for days on the lives the dead ships gave up.
