Hiya, I’m Mel, welcome to my collection of Handmade Contemporary Sterling Silver Jewellery, I hope you love it! I live with Psoriatic Arthritis which sadly forced me to give up my full time job a few years ago. I have always had a huge passion for creating, it’s always been natural to me, so I decided to pursue my daydreams and return to College as a mature student age 47, it’s now or never I thou

ght!It has been truly amazing, another of life’s journeys. I have learnt new skills, met new people, overcome new challenges, it’s been truly life enriching. So now, I’m proud to say I am fully trained self-employed Silversmith. Im always studying & attending workshops when I can to keep my skills up to date with new trends and techniques, there is always something to learn. I try to make my designs fresh, organic and timeless, they are handcrafted with my good & honest Yorkshire love from my Studio here right in Grassington in the Heart of the Yorkshire Dales.So, as the saying goes… every cloud! ... actually has had a silver lining for me when at times I thought I was no good for owt!My collections are made to be loved and worn, I hope you feel a connection to your piece either by its simple beauty, emotionally or sentimentally. 🌞 VISITORS CAR PARK 🌞

Good morning and another sunny one.

Due to the number of extra cars we have with guests and visitors this weekend, could we please ask if you could go through the visitors car park and follow the road through the gate and park your cars at the top of the field to the left.

This way we can free up the car park for short term visitors that maybe popping up for the Coffee shop or pizzas and make sure there is plenty of space for all. There is one already parked there if you can start to park at the side of it.

Please also park sensibly and not leave a huge space between cars, where not enough to fit another one in but taking up more room.

After a fab needle felting workshop in December, making a Barn Owl.....the fab is running another workshop with us to make a duckling 🥰
Friday 8th May from 10am to 1.30pm at Chapel Gallery - 8 spaces available (£40 per person) Contact myself or Harriet from Creating Wool Art

It’s a perfect time to get together with friends and enjoy a bit of creativity whilst learning a new skill.
This workshop is suitable for beginners, with no previous experience, but equally a fun workshop for more experienced felters.
