Walking into the Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art exhibition at the V&A Museum felt like stepping into a world where imagination knows no limits. I was completely mesmerised from the very first moment. Every outfit, every accessory, every hat, every pair of gloves, every piece of jewellery reflected an extraordinary level of craftsmanship that left me speechless.As a fashion & design enthusiast, I found myself gazing at every single detail, studying each masterpiece closely and admiring the extraordinary vision of Schiaparelli. I kept getting goosebumps, and there were moments when I became so emotional that I felt tears welling up. I couldn’t stop thinking how incredibly fortunate I was to be standing in front of creations.Every piece deserved to be admired again & again. There wasn’t a single design that didn’t leave me in awe. One of the most unforgettable creations for me was the breathtaking galaxy-inspired outfit. I was also captivated by the dramatic gold couture pieces. Another piece that completely amazed me was the child-like figure made with electronic components, including motherboards & with sparkling diamantés. It was such an unexpected fusion of fashion, art. Knowing that many of these extraordinary creations have been worn by some of the world’s most iconic celebrities made the experience even more special. Standing just a few feet away from these legendary masterpieces made me feel incredibly lucky and deeply grateful.

A lovely moment that made me smile happened as I entered the exhibition. A member of staff said, “It’s nice that you can pronounce Schiaparelli correctly—most people can’t.” I smiled and replied, “Pronouncing the designer’s name isn’t what matters most. What truly matters is loving art, appreciating it with all your heart, making time for it, and allowing it to soothe your soul.” My love for Fashion & Art will never Fade♾️♥️
