A lot of people know "Mark & Helen" and know about Helens devastating story over the past few years,
She was known by thousands in the Pirate / Goth / Whitby scene alongside many other places and constantly brought a smile to everyone's faces,
So when Mark approached me regarding making this, I couldn't say no expecially after knowing him for a few years and hearing about there battles together, We spoke about materials and styles and finally settled on this,
Definitely not my usual mix to put together but knowing every small bit, Having a separate story in there lives together it just had to be done,
Whitby Jet, Of course, It's famous in Whitby where they spent a lot of time together, Attending events with some of there forever friends, Many who Helen left her special little touch on in life, Even having her final "send off" there a short while ago,
The Red Opal, Was a request off mark, To remind him of there beautiful wedding day roses,
The African Opal, Once mark mentioned including Helen's birthstone (Opal).... alongside her last bucket list holiday to Africa, I had to pull a few strings to source it but definitely worth it due to the meaning behind it,
All set on a fully Machined in house, Polished, Grade 5 Titanium band,
Sadly, I never got to meet Helen personally although a lot of our mutual friends did and they all say the same, She was a absolutely incredible person,
Even in her last moments, She was full of joy, strength and love, Leaving not just hundreds but thousands of people with smiles and some absolutely beautiful memories,
Now, In Helens words....
Bring me that horizon,
Where the sun never sets and the dolphins of the sea meet the sky,
We will hold for calm seas and fair winds,
As we know in our hearts this is not goodbye 💙
