Hi I just want to give a brief outline of myself here and what I can do for people who are interested in my back ground and what services I offer :
I started as an apprentice goldsmith in 1986 working for a goldsmith in my hometown and followed him up the infamous A19 when he moved because I was determined to finish my 5 year one on one training, which I did, moving back to my hometown working for
a local jewellers until around 1994, at this point I took a year out to travel up and down the country in a battered van with my band playing gigs. I then returned to jewellery and went self-employed eventually opening up my first retail outlet in 2000 before moving to new larger premises in 2005 as Mobeus Jewellers. I then took over the best jewellers in the area H.Lamb Jeweller in Oct 2016 and closed Mobeus Jewellers in July 2017 to concentrate all my efforts into my new shop under my own name. Now to what I can do :-
All aspects of jewellery repairs, restoration work, re-modelling or re-making, as well as bespoke commissions. I have a team of people working for me now so I can do far more than just jewellery, I also have an engraving machine so we can now do most engraving work apart from the large trophies, we can also make bespoke trophies if needed using acrylics and wood or granite. My latest piece of machinery is a laser welder which has proven to be extremely useful allowing me to repair things other than precious jewellery, glasses, stainless steel, base metal, it can zap just about anything and melt it back together.
