Arrochar Crafts presents ...
A quick update ahead of the Bank Holiday Craft Fair in Luss Village Hall tomorrow (Saturday 29th August). Two of our favourite silver smiths, Thorgil’s Leather & Jewellery and Sacred Scottish Silver are joining forces for this fair and will be selling together.
Whilst Math and Morven have different styles, their work compliments each other.
Come and see them and the rest of the fabulous crafters tomorrow from 10am til 3pm.

There’s something satisfying about turning a flat piece of sterling silver into a finished piece of jewellery.

This pendant was entirely hand fabricated in my workshop before being set with a beautiful oval amethyst in a classic bezel setting. Simple, elegant, and designed to let the stone take centre stage.

All set up at the Luss Craft Fair today! 😊

If you’re out enjoying the village, pop in and say hello. I’ve got a selection of my handcrafted sterling silver jewellery on display, including Norse, Celtic and pagan-inspired pieces, along with earrings, rings and necklaces.

A better look at these two sterling silver Mjölnir pendants — one large, one small.

Both were cast in solid silver and finished by hand, with detailed knotwork and engraved panels inspired by Norse art and symbolism. I’m particularly pleased with how the detail reads at different scales — the smaller piece holds its own without losing clarity or depth.

These have already been sold, but they felt worth sharing properly. This design will return in future castings, each one slightly different, as handmade work always is.

Just finished these two sterling silver Mjölnir pendants.

They’re not perfect — and I’m genuinely fine with that — because they’re handmade from start to finish. What I am really pleased with is how well the detail came through in the casting, especially the knotwork and engraved panels.

Both pieces have already been sold, which I’m hugely grateful for, but there’s no reason not to share them. More pieces in this style will be coming as I continue refining the design.
