Elise May Jewellery was created 13 years ago, around the birth of my second child (hence the name) so I could work from home with 2 small children. I started hand assembling, stamping and beading Jewellery myself as well as designing and decorating my own wooden items. As my children grew and I started working part time I have moved over to sourcing pieces and less creating my own (although I stil
l hand assemble some items). I source my items from reputable high street suppliers and I (and family members and friends!) wear and have tested these items for years. My Sterling Silver items are 925 silver (stamped where possible), and many are coated in 100% silver (or Gold/Rose gold) and also have E coating over the top for extra protection! Some item also contain fresh water pearls, cubic zirconia, crystal, Opals and semi precious stones. - Sterling silver jewellery can tarnish with time, I suggest using a silver cloth to gently rub the jewellery to bring back its shine!
- Please note any jewellery by nature is delicate and needs to be treated with care (e.g. pulling on chains or elastic can cause breakage).
- Items are usually mounted on card, inside an organza bag inside a postage box. They are posted out second class signed for at a cost of £2.50 (up to 100grams - over this the price increases with weight). We are flexible and understanding and always do our best to accommodate your needs. There are however a few guidelines that we must take into consideration (from the Consumer contracts regulations 13th June 2014). Earrings are non-returnable for hygiene reasons. Please note that this does not affect your statutory rights. If a full refund including the original delivery costs is required, we need to be informed fourteen (14) days after the receipt of the order. The order must be then returned to us within fourteen (14) days after we have been informed of the cancellation, however you will be responsible for the cost of returns the goods to us. If a return is payable to you we will process the refund as soon as possible and, in any case within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the original order back to us. The returned goods do not need to be in their original packaging however they need to be in a sellable condition. Return postage is at your own cost and risk. You have a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. If you fail to comply with this obligation, we may have a right of action against you for compensation. This applies to all goods that are returned. Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights. If you return goods claiming they are defective, we will examine the returned goods and will notify you of your refund via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. We will process the refund due to you as soon as possible and, in any case within thirty (30) days of the day we confirm via e-mail that you are entitled to a refund for defective goods.
