The gold for my jewellery is mostly alloyed in my studio to achieve that wonderful sunny colour.

It is quite exciting and feels a bit like alchemy.

It is assayed in London and marked with the purity mark ‘750’, the assay office’s mark, the year and my makers’ mark. Therefore you can be sure of the quality you are buying.

Merry Christmas and thank you all for another exciting year as a designer maker, for trusting me with your ideas, sentimental gold or wedding ring creations. To all of those who have bought collection pieces: may they bring you much joy. Thank you for supporting a small, independent business.

Here are a few highlights from bespoke commissions to taking part in the Spotlighting exhibition at the Goldsmiths’ Centre to joyful moments in Ibiza and on the Welsh coast, fresh produce from my neighbours and wholesome food, ideas for a new collection and it coming along through chaos and calm on the bench, wonderful moments with friends and family and fantastic shows.

A heartfelt thank you must go to all my fellow makers and those who have advised, guided and supported.

Here is to 2026 - May it bring you all what you need the most.
