Leoma Drew Jewellery Hand made contemporary jewellery The objects act as references and the decorative qualities of the pieces then conceal the complexities of the content.

“I use various motifs like butterflies, birds, leaves and flowers as symbols that become metaphors and allegories to depict memories, the fleeting nature of life and the journey of one's life's experiences. I am now incorporating these motifs with solid shapes and stone setting for an even more abstract and contemporary feel. I find my wearable jewellery and objects are influenced by each other and wearable pieces represent sentimentality which is enhanced by the intimacy created between objects and the body”.

This beautiful ring was created by transforming an old piece of jewellery filled with sentiment into something completely new, while preserving the memories behind it.

My client wanted a more modern design that would sit high enough to work perfectly alongside her existing rings. The original old-cut diamonds had more of a cushion shape, so I designed bespoke square platinum settings with claw settings to create a squarer, more contemporary appearance.

Before making the final piece, I created a model to ensure every element would sit together perfectly and achieve the right fit and proportions.

The result is a stunning statement ring in platinum, combining treasured old diamonds with a fresh, modern design. A piece of jewellery with a new story to tell, while keeping its precious history alive. ✨

The Kimana Cuff ✨

Freeform, wing-inspired layers come together in soft frosted silver and rich 24ct gold vermeil, creating a beautifully sculptural statement piece.

Each cuff can be individually sized for the perfect fit and is available in a choice of finishes and widths.

I’ll be bringing the Kimana Cuffs, along with lots of new pieces, to at the beautiful Victoria Baths in Manchester, 16th–18th October, with the Private View on the evening of the 15th.

My client came to me with an existing ring in a similar design, but the original ring was quite heavy and made in white gold.

She also had a collection of other rings set with diamonds and sapphires that she wanted to incorporate into the new design. I created a few different options for her, and together we decided on an all-diamond design with one beautiful sapphire taking centre stage. 💙✨

I love being able to take sentimental pieces that are no longer being worn and transform them into something completely new and personal.
