“I use various motifs like butterflies, birds, leaves and flowers as symbols that become metaphors and allegories to depict memories, the fleeting nature of life and the journey of one's life's experiences. I am now incorporating these motifs with solid shapes and stone setting for an even more abstract and contemporary feel. I find my wearable jewellery and objects are influenced by each other an

A huge thank you to Sarah James MBE for putting on such an incredible event.
It was wonderful to meet so many talented makers, swap and purchase some beautiful treasures, and enjoy so many great conversations with both new and returning customers.
I can’t wait to share all the exciting new creations and comissions with you over the coming weeks.

For now, it’s back to the bench as I prepare for Great Northern Contemporary Craft & Art Fair this weekend in Newcastle!
I’ll be bringing this brand-new ring along to the show, along with plenty more new pieces. Featuring a stunning marquise-cut lemon quartz set on a triple frosted silver band, it’s one of my favourite recent designs.

A gorgeous deep red-pink tourmaline, set in gold using the customer’s own 22ct gold band. The ring features a beautifully frosted finish, contrasted by a polished setting that highlights the vibrant gemstone.

A beautifully fitted wedding band, designed to sit perfectly alongside an engagement ring I previously created. Crafted in 9ct yellow gold and set with even more stunning salt and pepper diamonds, this piece has come to life from prototype to finished ring.

I love working with the incredible variety of cuts, colours, and character that salt and pepper diamonds offer—each one completely unique.

Final sculpture, citrine, silver, 24ct gold vermeil, with a hand carved wooden base. So much texture with this playful sculpture. Lots of hidden meanings too. Magnet to change placement. The top fits perfectly into palm of hand and the stone fits between fingers when gripping the other way.
This was an unusual and beautifully interesting piece to work on.

Nearly there setting this amazing citrine. Two facets and a buff top. This looks different at every angle. The stone was a very important part of the brief. When I saw it I knew it was perfect! I look into it and it looks right back at me.
