Gorgeous ring, I loved how it came out, Eli and I met several times, discussing designs and choosing stones. The final ring was a Central Salt and Pepper Diamond, flanked by a pink sapphierw either side and then set with white diamonds in the band 💍

Giving some TLC to this gorgeous rose gold Albert chain today, it had a worn clasp and a link that needs replacing. Every single link is hallmarked, what a charm, customer bought it from a jeweller in the market place in the late 1970s and has worn it every day since, I’d date it at around 1901 so it has lived a life, 125 years, it could tell a story or two for sure.

You do get Albert Chains from earlier but they didn’t start putting dot before the 375 until 1854, so we know it was made after that. If I can get the hallmark cleaned up more tomorrow I’ll be able to date it exactly, but for now circa 1900 is my estimate 🤓
