Well, we've certainly had a week of celebrations in our family, plenty of delicious cakes and just spending quality time together ❤️ it's been manic but I've loved every minute. It's all gone quiet here now 😞 until the next birthday next week 🤣

It's been a while but I had to make a card for Mum's 80th birthday, and when the theme is teal blue, that's what we do! Cake was made by and is absolutely Stunning 😍 Happy Birthday Mum! 🩵

We have been asked by the Royal British Legion if any of our lovely customers would be able to make and donate poppies. They can be knitted or crocheted and will then be sold outside Morrisons. We will be happy to collect these in the shop and pass them on if anyone would like to help them 😊

Sorry, I've been a bit quiet on here lately. Have a lot going on behind the scenes but still fulfilling orders. I remembered today as I was planting out some sweet pea seeds that I hadn't shared this card made a while back. It brings back memories of last year at the plot where I had an abundance of sweet peas and roses growing together. This year, the shasta daisies should flower, too. I'm a bit late with all the planting this year, but hopefully, when the warmer weather appears, they will catch up!

Are you sowing anything this year? What's your favourite flower to grow? I love zinnias! They're definitely my new favourite, well for now anyway! 🤣🤣

Spring in a box! That's what this card is! Full of spring flowers to make you smile.

I've been a bit quiet this last week as I've been in bed with the flu. It knocked me for six, but hopefully, now over the worst and slowly easing back into life!

I'll be catching up with orders this week, too. And maybe I'll even get a day or two at the allotment to sow some seeds. I'm so far behind 🙄

Today is Friday and means it's the challenge!

This week's theme is Just Sew! Adding stitches to your card, whether real or faux!

I created this pocket with white cardstock and added the faux stitching around the edges with a black pen. I then found a stitching template that I believe was free with a card magazine many moons ago! So stitched this sentiment onto the pocket with blue thread. I wanted to keep it neutral, so I added the background paper from an old Trimcraft paper pad I had in my stash and die cut the flowers with an xcut die set.

I think it turned out pretty well for a quick make!
