The Gilded Lily & Co has been nominated for the UK’s Favourite Local Business 2026! 🥰

We have a massive favour to ask… (yes, another one, we know! 😂🙈)

We are absolutely blown away and feel incredibly proud and honoured to have been nominated.

Kevin and I have put so much into this little shop, and I’ve been so lucky to have the girls alongside me, helping bring it all to life. We’ve literally put our heart and soul into The Gilded Lily, so to have this recognition really does mean a lot to us. ❤️

I know I’m always saying we have the best customers, but I absolutely, genuinely mean it.

✨ Remember that exciting little secret we mentioned a few weeks ago? (The worst-kept secret ever! 😂)

We’ve possibly already told everyone who’s come into the shop, but for those we haven’t… here it is! ✨

We’re going to be a Nomination Shop-in-Shop! 🥰

It’s all starting to come together now and we are SO excited! 🤍

This means even more charms (yes, even more than we already have! 😂), a beautiful new cabinet of watches, and more jewellery ranges coming soon.

Nomination has always been at the heart of The Gilded Lily, and now it’s going to have an even bigger place in the shop.

We honestly never imagined we’d be doing something this big so soon after opening, and that’s all thanks to you. Every visit, every purchase and every bit of support has helped us get here, and we’re so grateful. 💛

We’ll be closed for a few days from Monday 26th October while the new cabinets are installed on Tuesday. Gareth and his two lovely daughters will then work their magic with the new displays, while we attempt to get the rest of the shop back into some sort of order! 😂

Just to give you an idea of what’s coming, we’ve shared a picture of another Nomination Shop-in-Shop. It’s not the exact layout we’ll have, but it gives you a little glimpse of what we’re working towards! 👀✨

Another day, another Speks delivery! 😂💗

We love hearing “oh god, they have Speks!” when people come into the shop. Safe to say they’ve become a bit of a favourite, and probably one of the best impulse buys going!

This time it’s the Jumbo Gumps 😍 Super soft on the outside, gooey on the inside and ridiculously satisfying to squeeze, stretch and squish. Go on, tell me you wouldn’t pick one up and have a play!

We’ve still got a very limited number of the Speks 3-pack Gump Balls and Mini Gump 4-packs left too, and honestly, I’ve no idea when we’ll be getting more in.

So if you’ve been meaning to grab one, don’t hang about!

A little thank you from us 🤍

Yesterday was another busy one! It seemed once Molly sat down at the permanent jewellery desk, that was her there for most of the day 😂 And it was one of our busiest days for Nomination too.

Thank you to everyone who came in, and especially to those who waited so patiently while we looked after everyone. We know waiting isn’t always ideal, so it really does mean a lot when people are so understanding.

We also seemed to have lots of first-time Gilded Lily shoppers in yesterday who told us they’d been recommended to come in by friends, family or work colleagues. Honestly, that’s one of the biggest compliments we could get. Knowing you’ve enjoyed shopping with us enough to tell someone else about us means more than you probably realise (and it helps us grow!). 🤍

It’s been a madly busy week all round, with deliveries of candles, stationery, children’s toys, Speks, food gifts and lots more arriving. We’re always looking for new things to bring in, building on the bestsellers you love and keeping the shop fresh and exciting, all while getting ready for Christmas (yes, already! 🎄).

I know I say it a lot, but we really do appreciate every single visit, recommendation, kind word, repeat visit and bit of support you give us.

We’re a small independent business, and it’s things like this that make all the hard work worthwhile. Thank you for being part of what we’re building at The Gilded Lily. 🫶🏻

You know when you see something and just absolutely love them? Well… that’s us with Noodoll Ricepuds. 🥹💕

We’re so excited to be getting them at The Gilded Lily & Co. They’ll be arriving over the next few days and, this time, I’ll be putting my favourite aside for myself… possibly one of each. 😂

It’ll definitely be easier for me to sneak them home without Kevin seeing them! 😂🙈

They are just ridiculously cute, and I have a feeling they’re going to be very popular!
