It is with a heavy heart that I share this message with you, my valued customers. On Saturday, my mom suffered a stroke, and I have been by her side ever since. Sadly, she passed away yesterday in the early hours. This loss is deep, and it has brought with it a heavy emotional burden. I want to take this opportunity to explain my current situation and the impact it has on my business operations.
I understand many of you are waiting for your orders and ash kits. I sincerely apologise for the delays that have occurred. As a small business owner, I manage everything on my own. This unexpected tragedy has significantly affected my ability to respond and fulfil orders in a timely manner.
During this time, I ask for your understanding and patience. Grieving is not a quick process, as you all know and I am doing my best to manage my emotions while still handling my business responsibilities. I greatly appreciate your kindness and support as I work through this challenging period.
I want to assure you that I will respond to your enquiries and fulfil your orders as quickly as possible. I know that you're all grieving too and whilst you will understand, you also need the comfort of the memorial items yourselves which is at the forefront of my mind. Your understanding means everything to me.
In the next few days, I will prioritise catching up on communications and eventually resume handmaking your memorial items ready for despatch. I recognise that many of you count on my services, and I genuinely want to meet those needs. However, I respectfully ask for your continued patience as I navigate this personal loss.
If you have any urgent concerns, please reach out. I will address them as promptly as I can. Balancing my grief with the responsibilities of my business is new territory for me, and your understanding helps immensely.
Reflecting on my mom's life reminds me of the love she gave to all around her. She was a remarkable woman whose influence touched many. I hope to honour her memory by providing you with the same level of dedication and care she inspired in me.
