This year the Artisan Craft Fair will be running for the first three days of the Bluebell festival, which takes place for the first two weeks of May. You’ll find incredible local makers and unique treasures both inside the historic Enys House and nestled on the lawn.

I love this venue and it always feels like a beautiful place to spend time as both a visitor and stall holder, and the Bluebells never disappoint!

I’ll be there with lots of my colourful wooden jewellery, perfect for a dose of Spring colour!

How it’s made 🎨

All my designs start life as little swatches in my sketch book where I keep a record of each colour palette to make sure every batch is the same as the last - I love this bit, choosing new colour ways and seeing what works together to create something new!

Some of my pieces are printed from a painting then laser cut, allowing for creative shapes and lovely crisp edges. Others are painted by hand, involving up to 3 layers of paint for a super smooth even finish. I have recently been adding a coat of resin to some pieces which is great for the smaller stud earrings to make the colours pop and for the hair slides to give them extra protection and durability.

Trial & Error 🌟

I accidentally ordered the wrong size beads and these tiny cute ones arrived! Sometimes these things turn out to be a bit of luck though, and I decided to experiment and see how they would look for some new bracelet ideas - I really like the way they turned out in this gold speckled style!

Design details 🌟

I love seeing these close ups of my jewellery - whether its the crisp clean edges on the more minimal pieces or the arty brush strokes on the more abstract styles, making sure each one is as perfect as can be is really important to me.

I’m always testing and trying out new earring closures too to see what people like - these new huggie style findings are the newest addition to my range!
