Let’s normalise this ⬆️

It makes me so happy when a customer comes in with a little sketch of their idea - and no, I’m not judging your artistic talents!! I love that you’ve thought about your design at home, the layout and the colours but that you have still left space and scope for us the chat about the design, for me to make suggestions and add my own artistic flair, after all, I’m an artist and isn’t that what you are paying for?!

AI certainly has its place and I have a love/hate relationship with it ~ it certainly helped me figure out what was going on with my broken kiln! But let’s value the human in the creative - we don’t want art to become wallpaper that looks identical devoid of personality, charm and individuality!

By all means use AI to make those everyday tasks easier - I know I do! But let’s keep creativity to the artists, designers, creatives and YOUR imagination.

xoxo

P O T T E R Y • P A R T I E S 🎉

An exciting day of training today with this lovely lot ~ our new Party + Event Hosts!

Such a fantastic bunch of local students studying everything from art, fashion and dance to economics, psychology and business ~ these guys are being trained up to host children’s parties, hen parties, private events and to join us in running our upcoming seasonal workshops. They bring with them bags of talent, enthusiasm and fun and I’m so happy to welcome them to the Crazy Kiln team!

Having them on board means we can now open up our bookings and offer more parties and events for you to enjoy pottery painting at! If you’re interested in booking a children’s party, hen party or private event with us, just follow the website link in our bio to find out more or just drop us a DM.

And a big thank you to the Abbie Mundy for letting us use your space to get everyone together today 🎉

24 hours ✨

And just like that, 63 appointments later and I’m fully booked for hand + footprint keepsakes for 2026! I can’t quite believe it, yesterday was a bit of a whirlwind and I’m so incredibly grateful for the continued support and love for Crazy Kiln ✨

I’m sorry if you’ve missed out this time - I wish I could split myself in two! But I have to be careful to not take on too many commissions - I have a few events for painting your own pottery with availability and you can of course hire a kit and paint at home. Just head to our website for more info about these options.

I don’t operate a waiting list but any cancellations will be shared on my stories.

January catch-up dates with be released in December ✨

So here they are, my dates for Christmas hand + footprint keepsakes!

This is the full Christmas list ✨

I won’t be adding any more dates this year ~ after these events have passed I will be offering January catch-up dates. These always work really well for any Winter babies born, those of you who can’t make these dates or any of you who are absolutely happy to avoid the Xmas rush and see me in the New Year! In fact January is much closer to Christmas than October is for more accurate sized prints!

As most of you know, it’s just me that does the artwork so dates may seem a little limited but I like to make sure that I don’t over commit and take on toooo many commissions! I want to make sure each piece I paint is perfect ✨

To book in drop me a message and I will offer appointments in the order messaged ~ please do try to be prompt with any replies as I can’t hold appointments for long!

To help things run smoothly please include the following details in your message;

✨ Your Full Name
✨ Your Mobile Number
✨ Your Email Address
✨ Your Preferred Date
✨ A Rough Time
✨ A idea of the number of pieces you will want to have

I offer shared appointments for people just wanting one or two simple items so let me know if this is you as it helps me to manage the appointments better to squeeze more of you in!

Thanks so much as ever for your wonderful support, it means so much to me ~ Christmas, let’s do this!!
