I don’t often write reviews (I’m too lazy) but this place seriously deserved a 5 star review! So, despite my full stomach and lazy attitude, it was time to fire up the laptop, log in to the book of face and praise these guys!
This place is INSANELY good, I was lucky enough to have the full taster menu of ’posh’ fries (black truffle fries), deep fried calamari, swanky fish cakes (don’t know they’re really called), scampi and halloumi fries..…..honestly, every bite seemed better than the last.
I don’t normally like scampi as it’s usually slimy inside and generally a bit ‘yuk’ but these weren’t like that at all - they weren’t at all slimy and the outside batter was beautifully battered without being too greasy.
And the giant calamari OH MY GOD, honestly the best I’ve EVER tasted.
The staff were hilarious and so professional. So much so my brother is now thinking changing his plans in order to use them to cater his wedding next spring.
Honestly the best seafood I’ve ever had - definitely rivals most seafood restaurants I’ve been to!
