R E L O V E D | Keeping Mum’s Sparkle Alive ✨
Audrey brought me her late mum’s diamond ring, an incredibly sentimental piece of jewellery, held so very dear because of all the love and memories it carried.
The idea behind her new ring was beautifully simple: to keep Mum’s sparkle alive. ❤️
We remodelled her gold into this wide band, with Mum’s diamond suspended so it can move freely, catching the light and sparkling as Audrey wears it.
From the point where the diamond hangs, we hand-cut a little sunshine, its rays beaming out across the gold. Smaller diamonds are scattered around the band, some nestled into hand-cut stars, creating tiny flashes of light and continuing that feeling of Mum’s sparkle twinkling around her.
And then came perhaps the most precious detail of all…
Inside the band, we laser engraved Mum’s actual handwriting, taken from something she had written herself.
Her gold.
Her diamond.
Her handwriting.
Her sparkle. ✨
All brought together into one piece Audrey can wear every day, keeping a little piece of her mum close.
This is why the story behind your jewellery matters so much to me. I want to hear about the person, the memories, the tiny details that mean something to you, because those are often the details that become the most beautiful parts of the design.
Your Story, Held Within. ❤️
