🏰Dating back to the 15th century, Midhope Castle is a striking example of a traditional Scottish tower house. Once home to the Hope family, it later became part of the Hopetoun Estate.

🌿🌾Though its interior now stands derelict, the castle retains a powerful sense of history and atmosphere. Its weathered stone walls and quiet surroundings give it a timeless, almost magical presence.

Today, it is best known as the filming location for Lallybroch, the ancestral castle home of 🥰Jamie Fraser 🥰 in the series Outlander, drawing visitors who appreciate both its historical significance and its haunting beauty.
