I can't get enough of this lustrous purple gem at the moment! Charoite is a highly prized, rare form of silicate mineral famous for its vibrant violet to deep lilac marbelled patterning. It is only found in one place on earth - the Murun Massif in the Sakha Republic of Eastern Siberia, Russia. Found in 1948, it was highly difficult to identify and wasn't officially named in the scientific world until 1978!
